In further reference to the letter from the Department of January the 23rd. last, the Nursing Committee have pleasure in recommending Miss J.E.

Wootten and Miss E.C.Maclaren to the Secretary of State, as suitable candidates for two of the present vacancies in the Goverment Civil Hospital, Hong Kong.

I beg to enclose herewith Miss Wootten's

and Miss Maclaren's application forms and papers,

and to say that the former will be prepared to leave England in a month's time, and the latter when required.
